Hi everyone, i am Stephanie, Lacey's Human. we are a family of 5 humans, 3 dogs, and 2 cats(more on the way). 2 of the dogs, we are fostering for family due to serious illness. unfortunatly, with the 2 we are fostering, my Lacey hasnt gotten the attention she needs. so, i am working with just hewr lately, letting the rest of the family work with the others.
Lacey is a 2 year old pit-bull. when we got her, she was around 15 months old, coming from an abusive/neglectfull home. she missed days of feedings at a time, and they locked her in the laundry room. since i have had her for the last 8 months, i have became her human. she doesnt listen to anyone else. when others are around me, she gets very protective. (once got in a fight trying to protect me from a stray dog). Lacey is a wonderful dog, she has never bitten anyone, even in the fight, all she did was hit with her legs, although she did get bit. i have started taking her on walks, with a regular collar and leash, and she has stopped pulling. she still gets easily distracted, but we are working on that. she is my baby, and i love her very much...
