Disney

Postby mnp13 » July 14th, 2009, 12:08 pm

Not that anyone noticed  but I was out of town from June 26 - July 4.

We had a (most of my) family vacation to Disney World in Florida. My brother in law just got back from Iraq so we were able to stay at Shades of Green Military Resort right on Disney property and we got discounted passes as well (yay war! uh... not)

At the end of the trip, I collected all of the pictures from everyone's cameras (well over 2,000) and then went through them, sorted by location, weeded out the blurry / bad / red eye / blinking / tree-growing-out-of-the-top-of-the-head pictures and ended up with just over 1,000. Then I condensed them down to one photo album from iPhoto.

Instead of uploading each picture (though of course, I have all of them if there is a need to see one here!), here's the album! Enjoy!

Great photo album. Very cool idea. Looks like it was a lot of fun. Haven't been to Disney in years. Need to go back soon.

That's a funny story actually. The picture in the book is from a camera, but I also had my mom take out picture with my camera phone. It took her about 6 tries to get the picture taken, either she took to long and the camera shut off or she took it then deleted it by mistake or who knows what she did. I had to got get him twice for re-shoots. At the third one, Tigger did the absolutely un-thinkable: he talkedto me "She's not all that good with technology" (or something to that effect.) I couldn't stop laughing. I got goosed too, which was also pretty funny.

I sent the picture to Demo. His response: "He'd make a good rug"

Ah, so that's why all problems with the email started!

I love the idea of a photo album. I have never seen anything like that.

I made it in iPhoto on my computer, and when it's done you just hit "print book" put in your payment info and a completed photo album comes in the mail!

A few companies have it, but they are all online, so you have to upload everything and then it takes for-ev-er to put the album together.

What a photogenic group! The kids are adorable...I especially love the little boy with the map on the Magic Kingdom page...so cute!
