This morning they offered him some food, and he was starving, apparently. No vomiting so far. Only a tiny bit of diarrhea.
The vet said he's "acting like a typical bully puppy, and he's all over the place". They couldn't believe the drastic changes they saw in him today.
If he keeps improving they will try him on oral meds and see how he does.
He might be coming home tomorrow or Saturday!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Sounds like he was feeling feisty!!! This all sounds like very good news, though! Fingers and paws crossed for continued improvement, and his return home!

*fainting from relief*

I am SO damn happy to read this Christine! Junie did the same thing (not ripping out her IV) but one night she was all lethargic and sick as hell and the very next morning she could barely contain her bully self, all barking and carrying on. They were amazed at the difference. Yay Faust, you keep improving sweetie!

That is awesome news!!

It's funny, I've never met that little guy other than to see his antics online in pictures but found myself going to sleep and waking up wondering how he was.

I was up at 4:30 this morning to swim and was checking the forum to make sure everything was ok.

Awww, Matt... I feel the same way about the dogs on this forum.
Wondering, worrying, sleepless nights, crying when one of them gets sick or passes away, rooting them on... all that. It gets very "personal" at times. :hug3:

How awesome, huh?

Woot!!!!! That's my little man, he's like, "I don't keed this stinkin' IV, just let me eat nooooow!!!" That's the attitude... lol

Keep it up, Faust! He looks like he's starting to get out of the woods!
