I Wanna know when a person (me?) can look at these posts and not feel a tear in my eye, and not immediately run through my options, wondering if I can take another dog.......When do we not fall in love with each face???????? Want to sob at every story????

when you realize you can't help them all. Then only particular dogs will get you.

And if you ever find yourself so hardened against feeling anything towards the animals that need help, then you need to get out of the business. Unfortunately, I know more than a few people like that, yet they still somehow work with animals and treat them like they're objects.
