Postby PittieLove » April 21st, 2006, 6:18 pm

Has anyone seen this?? I saw the front cover, it has two pit bulls(blu eand red-those are the only colors they come in :rolleyes2: ) one has enlarged teeth. On the back is two overly-large pit bulls with blood all over barking.

I wanted to see it, just so i could argue and annoy myself!!! ARG--PEOPLE

I watched the first one. :rolleyes2:

The dog fighting isn't the main part of the story but is integral. The part that shows the red nose as a gentle family pet pplaying with the little boy was o.k..

The script was terrible!

GHETTO DAWG 2:OUT OF THE PITS is a finely-crafted movie that benefits from excellent performances at every level, a great script by Christine Conradt, beautiful cinematography, an effective rap/hip-hop score by Capone and Death Dealers, and confident direction by Joshua and Jeffrey Crook that is very stylish without drawing attention to itself. All of these elements come together so perfectly that the movie runs like a well-oiled machine, sustaining interest and suspense from beginning to end. There are moments of shocking violence but they aren't enhanced by slow-motion or fancy editing -- they just happen, the way such things do in real life. I only found one scene that I thought really didn't work, in which Big Daddy and Jojo enact a variation on the "You think I'm funny? Funny how?" scene from GOODFELLAS. Other than that, though, this is a movie that everyone involved in obviously really cared about, and it shows. I have a feeling it may eventually become a cult film.

Yep, the first one was pretty bad... I just picked up the second one used but have not had time to watch it yet. I'm not holding my breath that it's any good.

For a ghetto type movie with a pit bull in it, the movie "Fresh" is a lot better.
