Couldn't Be Prouder

Weight pull, Protection, Agility, Flyball... you name it!

Kayden just finished up his first flyball tournament and he came out of it with 3 titles and almost 700 points.

He had a bit of a rocky start the first day (flying into the other lane to grab the ball out of the other team's box) but eventually settled in and had solid run throughs at the end of the day Sat. and all day Sunday (outside of splitting one of the large jump boards in half).

Earl also earned another title and somehow broke into the 4s (never thought I would ever see that dinosaur break 5 seconds).

After catching a 50 lb pit on the end of a tug all weekend I can barely walk, but it was all worth it to see him do so well in a sport I thought he wouldn't be able to compete in.

We will see. I'm going to try to get a nice box turn on him in the meantime. We've got a few months to work on it so we will see what we can do.

We will probably be at the Coconut Classic this weekend so you can give us some training tips while we are down there. We are only bringing one team down there so I'll probably run Earl for most of the weekend but may let Kayden run a race or two.

PS - Score would smoke Kayden

I didn't know you guys were coming this weekend! COOL! 8) We only have three teams this time, so hopefully we'll have more time to chat! ;)

PS Score smokes almost everyone nowadays...

Here's a quick video of him. It is a little choppy but was the only one I could get of him.

He is running 4.6s right now. I was starting him right at the line to make sure he stayed in his lane so I'm hoping once I work on longer starts and get a box turn on him, we can shave some time off that
