It does. The spot that's left is about the size of a penny, but it's pretty deep so it's taking a while to heal. Once that spot is gone, no more buckethead!

His scar tissue is incredibly soft and pretty fragile -- he tore some of it this morning, crashing through the woods after either a fox or coyote (I couldn't see it clearly). :neutral:

I cleaned him up and it looks okay, though.

It's a Jolly Ball, the "horse-sized" version. I got ours at the local feed store, but I've seen them in PetCo -- they're just more expensive there.
