I recently rescued a darling 7 mo old american pitbull terrier. Unfortunatly from my 23 yr old son.. who was not caring for her properly. It has been a real educational process for myself and husband. We have a five yr, old son who adores her as well. I have to thank my friend jennifer from rochester ny who rescues this breed. she put me in touch w this forum. she really connected me with the sources to educate me. I am thankful that i took the time to research the breed.. only to find out this was an incredible dog. We love her very much and am looking forward to a rewarding relationship. We are on week three of obedience training and she is responding very well. her name is Figi. Thanks to everyone out there for the suppport and education.

Welcome... To this wonderful site. I have only been a member for 6 days and have already gotten a whopping load of information and answers to all my questions and concerns from people that you can tell are truly caring about dogs period.. I am a FOOTBALL fanatic and a NY Giants worshiper... but this site has me ecompltely enveloped :P It is awesome!!
Thats great that you rescued Fiji and Im sure she will be nothing but a positive addition to your family that will bring worlds of smile and joy in to it..
