Therese, I am so so sorry. I wish there was something I could say to ease your pain, but I know that there isn't. I'm sure that your girls are together and happy. They're probably comparing notes with Petey about crazy mothers who chase them around to take pictures of them.
You are in our thoughts & prayers.

Thanks again everyone, I'm trying to find some peace and comfort knowing she is now Ok and isn't in pain though it isn't helping much.
I spoke to the surgeon last night who preformed her surgery and he reassured me I did what was best for her and that most wouldn't have even tried as hard as I did for her. That helped a little but still I feel guilt over having to let her go...
I just miss Starlit so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys are the best!!!! I mean it really. It is so nice to have a support system of true dog lovers/friends who are there when you need them.
I'm feeling a bit better, though of course a big hole is in my heart and I cry often
Thanks again!

Glad to hear you are feeling better. It really is ok to recover from a loss at your own pace.
