Good Thoughts.

Earl took Dottie to the Vet today, she has a growth on her right hind leg, he gave us some medicine and told us to come back in two weeks if it hasn't gone down, then he'll remove it if it's not down.

She's been licking it and chewing on it. So I knew it was bothering her.

We need some good thoughts.

Did they do a biopsy? What kind of a growth is it? What meds is she getting?

They didn't do a biopsy, they put her on Cefpodoxime Proxetil 100 mg tab twice a day, and Remicin Ear Ointment, they said it is good as a ointment to rub on her growth

Tomorrow if she lays correctly i'll try to get a picture of it, right now she's sleeping peacefully...

Does she lay down in the same position all the time? It might be the beginning of a hot spot. How much does it stick off of the leg?

If she has been licking it, and it appears infected, then I will clear the infection before doing an aspirate. Otherwise, we are not likely to get a true representation of what is there.
