Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

Postby ArtGypsy » April 7th, 2009, 1:45 pm

We hope that people will visit the site and give us feedback…….we are still working on a couple of corrections/glitches……….

Ideas…?????????……this site isn’t finished, and when we do complete it, we will send out a notice, but for now, I'm just relying on folks to comment. None of us are professionals with web sites, or PR, but we're 'wingin' it!!

So,,,,,for now, The articles can be viewed, donations given and PSA viewed. (((Please take the time to look at the the video…….kristen did an amazing job on it!!)))

We have been told that the agency for DV in Hannibal is going to link our site to theirs, so that will generate more interest.....

Oh, I got a call yesterday, and it seems My “ten minute speech” has been promoted to 30 minute ‘key note’ on April 26, for MO. Victims of violent crimes Rally, there in Hannibal. This event has been planned since last Fall, so the ‘timing’ of this event falling the day before the killer’s preliminary hearing the next day, is perfect. !!!!

Also, I’ve been contacted by KHQA, in Quincy,. To do a live phone interview for the news….please send me as much support, good wishes and confidence as you can!! I feel like this is gettin' way out of my league..........**nervous-shuffling of feet**

So feedback, folks........... http://www.voicesforamanda.org
Thanks……..Jody

Jody, I know that you were nervous about this recording but you did an awsome job. Thank you for speaking out for those who don't have to courage or the voice to do this.

We are ALL so proud of you Jody. You did an amazing job! Thank you for sharing her story & for being one of the front runners for change. I think we all know someone or have even been in that place ourselves and her story is so familiar for so many. I just wish it had had a better ending. Thank you

You gusy are the best....... (deep sigh)

Now I just have to get through the 30 minute speech. Still haven't even WRITTEN it.
dang.

Last night was hard----------very very hard. Couldn't stop crying for anything. Then, when I couldn't lay and cry, I walked the floor and shuffled like a mad woman in an asylum.

That's exactly how I feel too,sometimes.

It's an honor to have so many good, supportive friends....
