Yesterday was Trouble's two month post chemo checkup. Her bloodwork is perfect, heart and lungs sound great, She goes back in 2 months. He gave me the option of stretching that to three months, but I'm not comfortable with that yet. I told him we would see him in two
I had been testing for for several days prior to taking her in for boarding with 1/2 a tramadol twice daily. She just seems slow getting up and down, stiff or sore, not so much pain. We discussed this at length. Dr F didn't have a problem with her keeping that routine, but I'd prefer not to keep her on pain meds long term. So we went to the glucosamine discussion. I'm going to switch to this and see if I get the same or better results that I did with the tramadol. I would rather have her on a supplement long term.
When we got home she went to sleep. She's been out cold ever since. She must have had a really tiring visit at the kennel this time.
Go Trouble, you're our beautiful girl.
