These were taken in the yard a couple of days ago. Poor yard. :(

Sidney found a big stick. It kept her busy for a very long time:

Nothing like a big stick to keep one busy......your yard, your poor yard....will it fill in, or will the dogs keep it "maintained"?

It will fill in a bit more than it is now, but the dogs like to chew on any little patch of grass they find. I think we're finally making peace with the fact that we'll never have a nice yard.... but the dogs are worth it.

Awww... poor hubby. My bf is in charge of the gardens in the front of the house, so he doesn't care so much about the back-- it's mostly just a matter of how much mud there is when it rains.
We have a very high clay content in the ground, so the grass doesn't root very well back there anyway.

Just like rearranging our priorities when we have children, we rearrange our priorities when we have dogs...or any pets for that matter. :|

Paris... I keep picturing your mohawked boyfriend playing in flowers in front of your house, that's kinda funny.

And you guys stop complaining about not having nice grass, my backyard looklike is made of beaten up concrete and my neighbor's trash (I have to go and clean it, the dreaded task every year)! :(

lol That's pretty funny since I actually took a picture of him playing out in the front yard the other day (by playing I mean planting vegetables). Unfortunately he's wearing a baseball cap-- I'll post it for you soon (maybe tonight or tomorrow). But seriously... the garden is his. I'm not even allowed to pull weeds. :| Apparently I am terrible at gardening.
