IT'S SO EASY..........they can be as complex/complicated/detailed as you like, or as simple as coating each page with some sort of background paint (certain ones do better than others)..and gluing on pictures.

I Used to be pretty active on several Yahoo sites for Altered Book artists and I own several really good books on various 'how to' techniques!!

For me, I enjoy having several different ones at various stages of completion.........plus I keep an art journal....more of a visual' journal, I'd say. For years and years and years, I've kept written journals, so I decided to try a different style of expressing my thoughts/joys/fears.

I have some 'not so great quality' pics on Myspace. http://www.myspace.com/jodytheartgypsy

I tried to go in and make my pics accessible.........see if it works!!!

I'll try and head over to storage sometime this weekend and dig around and see if I can find some. We did them in my high school painting class every Friday. I loved them, so I've kept up since then. You should try it, I bet you'd dig it.
