We're hoping to go for a softer bandage (no splint) in the next week or so and that's a REALLY big step in the healing process. Dr Blabs also brought up a very good point: at this time, the more the bandage is changed, the more chance there is of taking off healthy tissue with the bandage, even though a non-stick pad is being used. There is no oozing of the wound, so it's staying dry by itself and the deep fissures are starting to fill-in, so it's time to not change the bandage so often.Users browsing this forum: No registered users
