Awesome leash clasps

Anything that doesn't fit into the other three catagories

Has anybody seen these before? They're super-strong but still really light. They have a locking mechanism so it is literally impossible for it to open accidentally. They're really cool!

I'm getting at least one leash made with it, probably more 'cause he can make them in lots of colors for only $12.

A local pit bull rescue that I'm taking handling classes with is making them. Not sure where they found these clasps, but aren't they fantastic?

I get excited over silly things.

How easy are they to open? Do you have to exert a lot of pressure to open...or do they open with a light squeeze?

I'm always looking for new stuff for the SD clients. John has very little hand strength, so most clasps are too difficult for him. These look interesting!

They open really easily (except when locked) and they're easy to lock and unlock. Want me to find out where they got them?

If you guys are really interested, I could probably order them for you, too. Obviously you'd have to pay more for S&H, but they're nice leashes. :| And the money goes to pit bull rescue.

I'd love to know where they got the clasps. Most of the clients are picky about their leashes...John only uses short rubber ones for instance...so I'm personally more interested in the clasps than the leahes.

Can we see a pic of the leash though?

I've emailed her to find out where they got the clasps. I searched online and only found them here: http://www.vetvax.com/hardwaresnaps.html . They're the lock jaw snaps, $10.99 each.

The leash I have is only 4' - she's letting me borrow it to make sure I like it. I'm getting a 5' one made. I took pics of the whole leash, plus close-ups of both sides of the hardware.

I have those snaps and I love love love them. My favorite. Even on days when my hands hurt and don't wanna work, I can still use them. Mine has had the hell beat out of it for three years and it's still going strong. It's my daily and working leash.

I got mine from either Ohio Travel bag or Weaver Leather for about $6.00 each
