One of the vets that I work for is a huge fan of Ian Dunbar. We've had some amazing conversations about training over surgeries at work.

By and large I agree with Dr. Dunbar's methods and theory.

I enjoyed his "Before & After Getting Your Puppy" book, but it was a bit TOO fatalistic for me: "if your dog doesn't meet 200 new people by the time he's 12 weeks old he'll never be properly socialized" and stuff like that. lol

Liz, I do agree that part is a bit fatalistic, but I also understand his point. When reading or watching his stuff I have to remember, he is teaching to the folks that really know very little.
