He got all his stitches taken out today!!! :confetti:

Well, all except the ones around his Big Ouchy. But, the Big Ouchy looks really good and is starting to become a healthy pink-and-healing colour!

Many tremendously huge thanks to Dr Blabs & Mr Dr Blabs for meeting me at the vet office this morning, especially since it was their day off!

:bowWave: :bowWave: :bowWave:

During Indy's bandage change, Dr Blabs removed two stitches that were becoming ingrown around the Big Ouchie and one spot started to bleed. I got a little bit freaked out and was like "uh....." but Dr Blabs explained that was a Good Thing to See because it means all the tissue and blood vessels are viable and working properly. *whew* As she said "If he weren't bleeding, we'd be having a different conversation." (Meaning skin grafts. )

His footie looks better and better every day! We're probably going to skip the bandage change tomorrow due to the lovely winter storm coming in. >( Hopefully, we won't get the 15" inches of snow the forecasters are estimating and we CAN get his bandaged changed -- I'd hate to miss a day considering we can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Yay! Yes, bleeding is good! Give Indy some tummy rubs from the Fitzgerald household!
