I've got a new client...I'll be seeing them tomorrow. Dog is a Majestic Tree Hound...the husband has been using her for tracking wounded deer (found 8 out of 9 last season). I can't find the post where Demo was talking about it before...so I started a new thread. 8) I'm handy like that.

I can't wait to meet this dog...I've seen pics of the breed, but never met one. She looks like a bloodhound mainly from the pic I saw. Very cute and smooshy. I love hounds.

I'm curious to hear more about the tracking too...I didn't know anyone in the area was doing it.

I read the title to this thread and thought that you had found a deer tracking dog hurt (wounded).

Don't worry.....that's what I thought too!

They should come to class, too. I like houndy-guys too! Maybe not with the aggressive lab puppy...
Hmmm. Should be an interesting class :popcorn2:

Whew, okay I don't feel so dumb...I was afraid to open this thread. I thought a wounded deer was tracking a dog and I really don't think that is a visual I'm ready for.

:bitchSlap: Your not a dork.

I looked for that thread that Demo was talking about training the dogs to track the blood trail but I can't find it either. I was interested in it as well.
Congrats on the new client. Can't wait to hear more about her.

lmao

I was confused myself, but I think it's hilarious! Sounds like an interesting pooch too. :)
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure....

And can anyone find that original thread about tracking wounded deer? It seems to have disappeared! lol

The deer tracking sounds cool...and a great idea, but not being remotely a hunter, I don't think I could stomach it.
