Hi, I'm from Florida. I adopted a Boxer/Pit Bull mix 5 months ago. She had been in a shelter for about 1 1/2 years and in 3 years had a total of 4 owners, including, finally, myself. Her name is Snickers. I guess I never realized the high energy that she had. She is great in the house and as long as I give her enough exercise she is fine. I joined this group for help in getting through a few rough spots. I volunteer at an animal shelter. I thought I knew all I needed to know about Pit Bulls and Pit mixes, but I don't. So, any help I can get from this group will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! You'll find a lot of information here . . . plus we all like to put in our 2 cents whenever anyone has a question ;)

And we demand pictures of Snickers (that was the name of one of my cats growing up!). Thank you ;)
