Very feel good and very animal adoption focused. There was even a point in the movie where they go into the different reasons certain dogs in the movie ended up at the shelter or strays.

C. said he was going to take me to see this just so I can sit there and name the different breeds. He laughed when I saw the poster at the movie theater. :|

Yea, I caught myself doing that

Alyssa go! Totally worth it.

Ack!!!! I thought I was the only animal nerd sitting around naming breeds. . .
Ummm, dobie with uncut ears, am. bulldog called a pit bull,
ummm, nubian goat, quarter horses didn't look like that in the early 1800's (western movie, blech), etc. My husband claims I'm no fun during a farm or western movie because the film makers always get something wrong. . .

28 Days Later - I'm sure it's already been mentioned in here, but I just watched it again (bought it plus 28 Weeks Later last night for $15 total!). DAMN what a freakin' awesome movie this is! Perfect for a Sunday morning. lol

Clint Eastwood made a movie about my Old Man. Jesus.

It was EXCELLENT. Sometimes a little unsettling, but I highly recommend it.

I had a hard time walking down the hall to the theater, I kept getting sidetracked by all of the "upcoming movie" posters.

Wolverine, Transformers, Star Trek and that new comic book one looks good too - Watchers? Watchmen? something like that.

I'm thinking that animated one is a must see as well, but I have to find it in 3D

We saw the gi-normous Hotel for Dogs poster, I'm pretty sure that's a Beauceron on the upper left. They are such cool dogs, and I was diggin the Pit Bull puppy too!

Yup it was. I saw it too.
I saw Taken and thought it was a great movie.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno

It was a cute flick, but really not up to par for Kevin Smith. And while watching it you kept feeling that so much stuff was left out, and when you watched the deleted scenes EVERYTHING was answered. It would have made far more sense to keep in a good handful of those deleted scenes then not only would it have been more cohesive, but it would have been more Kevin Smith. But again, a cute little love story, worth a watch.

And the full frontal of Jason Mews really should be reason enough to watch it.

I REALLY want to see Bigger, Stronger, Faster. It looks like it may blow a hole in the anti-steroid hysteria with a little common sense.

You HAVE to go see Gran Torino. I would go watch it again in the theater, and I normally don't do that except for really good action movies.

Bigger, Stronger, Faster DID blow holes in the anti-steroid world. I actually learned a lot (quite eye opening).

I really want to see Gran Torino. I have watched the trailer over and over

I sat there having flashbacks about growing up. My uncles were the same way, but they were just old enough to have fought in WWII. Dad was the youngest, so he had shell-shocked war veterans as babysitters.

I'll never complain about how "tough" it was when I was a kid.

Can't wait for the movie! May see that one in the *gasp* theater!

My dad was in WW2 ( at 15) and the Korean Conflict, he wanted to go to VN but he was too damned old & that pissed him off. He was a grouchy old bastard, he growled, grumbled & spit just like Walt. But worse. He got his hair cut every 3 weeks, he drove around in an old truck, carried a gun & bitched at people. He would have never been in the neighbors house though. And the gang bangers would have gotten shot in the yard. LOL He gave me absolute hell growing up & treated me the way Walt treated his kids. But he did love Amanda more than life, he was good to my mom & I miss the old fart.

Oh & he NEVER laid a finger on em, he didnt have to. I was BORN scared shitless of him.

The Lost Boys - awesome freaking movie! I'd forgotten how classic it is. Kiefer Sutherland may be one of the hottest vampires ever.
