Bully Sticks

Ok I am a worry mom so I hardly give Rocky anything other than his reguar food. I ocassionally give him bully stiks and marrow bones. With Bully sticks I have always taken away when it gets down to a few inches long like when he can no longer hold it and chew and has to put the whole thing in and chew. Is it necessary to do that. Are they known to cause problems like a raw hide? Never gave him one of those and never will. or are they more digestible. I ask because he is working on one right now and is down to a small piece and seems to be chewing it up ok.

I let Inara finish them all the way, but I keep an eye on her.

I do the same with my dogs, Liz...I let them eat the whole thing...but I never leave one with any of them when I leave...

I take it away when they can fit the whole thing in their mouth and possibly swallow it.. I just worry like that though, I don't even let my daughter eat a peppermint without biting it in half first. :oops:

I would imagine that a Bully stick could cause the same issues as a rawhide.

My dogs chew so I let them finish the bullysticks.

I let my dog s finish them but mostly because I get really grossed out if I have to touch a limp, drooled on bully stick. :sad2:
