Hi all,
I've been a registered member here since 2006 but I've never actually posted and only very rarely read. But Pitbullmamaliz left a comment on my blog today that I really appreciated, so I figured I'd wander over here and get involved. I hear good things about this place from a number of people I know from other forums, and goodness knows it's good to be understood!
I have two pit bulls and a baby Border Collie. Luce is 6 years old, an adult shelter adoption. She was supposed to be my dog sport dog but she's blown both her knees. She has her CGC and 2 legs toward her Rally Novice title, which we'll finish but I'm not sure how much she'll do beyond that. Mushroom is also 6, came to me after being fostered in a vet's office after having been dumped on the street and picked up by AC. He's a very soft, timid dog but sweet as pie and silly as could be. Steve is the baby BC. He's 14 weeks old and obsessed with tennis balls.
Anyway, I've got a lot of strong feelings about pit bulls, about training, about breeders, about a lot of things, but I suspect they'll mesh pretty well with the majority of the posters here. So, that's me.
