Hello all,
I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and contribute to the conversations on this board.
My name is Megan Welch and I for Chris Fraize at Canine Solutions Training Services in Acton, Maine.
I have competed in and titled in competitive obedience, personal protection, weight pull, terrier races, conformation, and the Iron dog. I am the youngest person in K9 Prosports history to title a dog. I was 15 at the time and I competed with an 8-year-old dog. She was an A.P.B.T. that I have since retired and placed in a home where she can be fat and lazy and sleep on furniture all day. I am also the youngest person to compete in the iron dog competition. I won third place and competed in the 20-29 year old division.
I currently have four dogs, two Jack Russell Terriers, an A.P.B.T. and a Belgian Malinois. Currently one of my Jack Russell Terriers is titled in conformation, weight pull, and is VERY close to being titled in terrier races. My A.P.B.T. has received her U-WP (United Weight Puller) and is 20 points away from being a weight pull champion and 5 points away from being a champion in conformation. My malinois is titled in the Iron Dog and we are currently training for the UKC’s service dogs trial. We are also getting ready for competitive obedience trials, weight pull, and other personal protection tournaments.
I have also helped with the bite prevention demonstrations for the Maine Safety Council, Central Maine Power, and some of the local recreation departs.
Below are a few pictures of my A.P.B.T.’s.
Thank you,
Megan Welch
