you know..if she were not black and tollers were not so uncommon, I could totally get behind a mix like that. She actually does look like a little black toller.

Thanks Diana for the extra knowledge! I knew there were labs and terries, missed the shar pei mix previously. Its funny that a couple of people mentioned Shar Pei and that though never once crossed my mind looking at her.


I see duck tollers at work pretty regularly across the water on vancouver island over here:)
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

The head looks a little Field Spaniel-y to me with the heavier muzzle.

Are you thinking Sussex Spaniel, as the field spaniels have a more slender muzzle, like an English cocker.

Sussex look similar to Field spaniels, but are blockier.

I definitely wasn't thinking Sussex because they're a tad too heavy. I guess maybe the field spaniels I know were just poorly bred because they definitely had a bigger muzzle than the one you posted.

I think flat coat mix. And her head looks alot like one of the flat coats I groom regularly.
