Somehow I don't think that's in Demo's new diet plan lol
Tell him to suck it up and be cold for awhile, we keep our house
desperately cold and just use space heaters for whatever room

I feel your pain. In January 07 we had to do a complete furnace replacement in the middle of the winter (not many choices when the whole damn thing quits)...and I sit here eating Ramen Noodles as I type.

When I first moved in here the guy that was sent to "service" my heating burner said he had never worked on one so old...then when he opened it he said theres no way I can take those firestones out and clean them as they will fall apart....he said we *might* get 3 or 4 years use out of it if we were carefull with it and lucky..so far the luck is holding but the being carefull sucks as we can only have it on 35/40% which gives you only 13/15 degrees in the house...and not all over the house either!...but some heat is better than no heat

I hope yours can be fixed quickly and working well again soon...and I sure hope that the accompanying bill is manangeable

Will you be able to split the bill into payments?...over here is any bill is larger than E1000 you can ring the company and ask them to let you pay in 3 parts over 3 or 6 months...much larger bills can be split more but you may have to add a small fee on

I opened the bill today, and let's just say that they have a customer for life.

They were here for three hours, starting at about 4, so that's well into "evening rate" and they charged 2 hours day rate.

The controller was pricy, but not much can be done about that. :|

It sure wasn't free, but it was less than half of what I was expecting. YAY!
