I got lil baby rats

Never thought i'd have rats :lol:
but now i have 2 lil baby rats, both boys, my friend breeds em for food for her snakes but i got these 2 to keep as pets

the white one is costello and the grey one is rat buttler :lol:

I had rats years ago. They make great pets, for small animals... I miss 'em. I will probably have them again someday. Right now the ones in my barn gotta go.
Your guys are cute.
Have you found they have a similar public reaction as our dogs?

Without a doubt I have had more horrid reactions to my rats than I have to my foster pit bulls. The worst being my immediate family. My parents haven't minded my fosters much, in fact my mother LOVES coming over to see Venus, the current foster. But when I lived with them and had rats? That was the WORST!!! They were both too terrified to even open the cage doors and give them food. If I went on vacation I would have to hire someone to come in and care for my rats because my parents couldn't stomach it.

Yet taking the strange foster pits out for a walk? Nooooooooooo problem . . .
