Hi everyone!
My husband and I have a six-year-old blonde baby boy (that bad "d" word is never used!) named G. He is absolutely the biggest pit I've ever seen - the vet said he's a "hog" pit. Anyway, he's about 110 lb's, 24.5" head, and stands about 27" at the shoulder. He actually takes over half of our king-sized bed without half trying to.

It's nice to finally find a site that says what we've been saying for years - it's not the breed, it's the owner. I would challenge anyone seeing G with our seven-year-old son to say it's the breed! We don't have BSL in our area, yet, but there are whispers that they're working on it. We live in Texas, on a small (very small) farm - we have one cow, four chickens, and two cats. Our other dog is supposed to be a pit/bassett hound mix, but not real sure about that, the bassett doesn't seem right. Maybe pit/rat terrier?

Pits are the only breed dog that my husband really loves; they are loyal, affectionate, and great companions. G's also great with the farm. He messes with the chickens and herds cows.

We both like our pizza loaded, no anchovies.

I've been reading on here and trying to figure it out. Let's see...

This is G i his kiddie pool. We usually use this to water all the animals but he'd had a pretty good run in the yard and decided to cool off!

He actually is a huge teddy bear, sometimes more than I'd like! That's usually the nights I end up on the couch because he's got 3/4 of the bed!
