It's a balmy 53 degrees in our house right now.
The relay switch on our furnace finally crap the bed, it's been sticking occasionally for a while, usually I just whack it and it clicks and everything is fine. Well, no amount of wacking is working today.
So, they are on their way now (there is no such thing as a non-emergency furnace call in the winter) the fix is not going to be fast, easy or cheap. They don't usually keep relays for 20 year old boilers in their trucks. And of
course I only realized the problem 10 minutes ago, so they will almost definately be here after 5, so it will go from
expensive an hour to
brutal an hour.
Honestly, I'd wait until tomorrow to have them come in, my last house was between 43 and 45 for over a month when that furnace broke. You just get used to it and add a few layers
However, Demo gets all annoyed when I do stuff like that.
So, let's all hope that my diagnosis of the problem is incorrect... but I'm pretty sure it isn't.
I wonder if they take CareCredit?
