Dammit... I wish I lived closer to you already.

Keeping my fingers crossed for him in the meantime. :(

This makes me so sad! He is absolutely beautiful! :(

Christine if you had a date (or some idea) I'd go scoop him temporarily until you were closer. We'd definitely work it out if it was temporary.

Totally off topic but what would cause a dog's eyes (where whites) to become completely red? I've noticed lately that Kenny's eyes are extremely red in that area

Is it possible he's getting into something? Maybe causing him to itch his eyes and irritate them? Maybe stress is a factor too.

Just throwing ideas out, I'm no vet!

Both of them?

Before Mick was dx'd with glaucoma his left eye looked really bloodshot.

But stress... yeah, if it's both of them, that's possible. Poor guy.

Yes, both of them are completely red (not white at all)

Check and see if they've changed the cleaning solution in the kennel or if they've added any new chemicals to the environment.

Are his eyes weepy at all?

If he has pink-eye, it's VERY contagious to both the other animals and whatever humans he comes in contact with.

He really should be checked out by a vet.

Not weepy at all

I'm going to check in on him again tomorrow so if they are as bad as they were last night I'll make sure they get him checked out.

Not sure about the eyes, but I could hold him temporarily too, to give more time. :|
He would be on a "crate and rotate" with 2 other dogs, but he would get a walk a day and a big yard to play in. Not to mention toys, and lovin.
Also, Deebo had the end of his tail actually burned off when I found him, and the only thing that healed it was Nu-stock, I have a lot left if needed.

I would snatch him up in a heartbeat if I could. He's darling!

Awe, poor Kenny, I'd totally take him if I could. He looks like an adorable, eager to please little guy that would be fun to do any activity with!

Gomer and Kenny look good! I know how you feel working with them and your heart breaks every time you see them still there, without homes, and you know they deserve homes. :(

Paws crossed for Gomer and Kenny!

Um, um, um, lol

If anyone is interested in seeing a video of Kenny and uncle um, um, um you can see that below. They cornered me before I left the other day to get a little video the other night. I counted myself saying "um" enough times for a year but you can definitely see how sweet Kenny is (and how dumb I sound)

I was on my way out when the director of the shelter asked me to talk about him so I was a little tongue tied to say the least :neener:
