September 1-3, 2006, Cato, New York (a little north west of Syracuse)

Get your bullies ready!

This will be an event for ALL who love the bull breeds. American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs and any other breed that has 'bull' in the name! Dogs are not required to be pure bred or a member of any registry.

The proceeds for the event will go to breed rescue and for legal support to fight BSL.

Please let us know if your rescue group would like to attend.

This event is planned to educate the public about the breed(s) as well as make available to the owners the variety of fun dog sports you can compete in with your dog (regardless of registry or rescue). Most importantly for bully people to get together and share their wonderful dogs an have a great time.

We are hoping to make this an annual event.

Stay current on all of Bull-ympics news!!! Add yourself to the email list!!!

This sounds fun...Dale could do the dash..that is his other nickname...he's fast....
then again all pit bulls get good practice for that one with the zoomies.
How about a 'funniest zoomies' contest?

An email from one of the two founders of the Bull-ympics

Almost everyone on this list wanted to be kept up to date on this event. Anyone I mistakingly included, I appologise, but I invite you anyway!

The website is up! Anyone who wants to be kept up to date on the bull breed event "the Incredibull Bull-ympics" please add it to your favorites. All additional information about the event will be promptly updated to the
website.

http://www.bull-ympics.com

Anyone who wants to be involved with the event, planning, vollunteering,
vending, or in their own capacity... all assistance will be appreciated to make this event 'all it can be'. It is anticipated to be a HUGE event. Please contact us, we will soon have a list of the different areas we could use help, demo dogs, etc.

Please feel free to forward this or the website info to ANY bull breed friendly list (i.e. staffordshire terrier, bull terrier, pit bull, boston, staffie bull, bull mastiff, american bulldog, etc.)

thanks for your time

we're going to need help with a million things, from getting all the waivers signed at the 'gate', to keeping track of who wins what, to getting people ready for the next events... etc etc etc

Would you be able to make it for the first day of the event?

I am hoping to be there the 1st day. My husband is on vacation that week so please let me double check when his vacation actually starts. I do not foresee it to be a problem though.

I just got back from the meeting...

We are holding it at the Over Rover Agility and Flyball training facility. there is an indoor ring, two fully fenced rings, an open ring, and a fully fenced area with a pond. QUITE the setup! I was very very impressed.

So far, the official events are:

Agility, CGC, TDI, TT, frisbee, dock diving, hang time, tug-o-war, fastest dog, weight pull

All events will be held Saturday and Sunday

Friday will be for people who want to try things out before compitition begins.

That's all I'm putting up here! Check out the website tomorrow!

The kissing contest type of events will be informal and spontaneous at this point.

Actually, I mentioned the kissing contest and no one seemed to excited. :rolleyes2:

This location is awesome. Very pretty as well. I'm very excited about this.

It looks like there will be a team of CGC evaluators. We'll keep you updated. We might run 2 at a time.
