Lab Rescue in MD?

Postby lellis34 » November 26th, 2008, 9:53 am

Does anyone know of a lab rescue in the Maryland area? A lady I work with is looking for a rescue "doodle" type dog. She's looking for a puppy age to partner with her cocka-poo, but not for a few months. She had a house fire several months ago and lost one of her dogs and she really wants a new one - preferably one that won't shed, AND not necessarily a bright dog as the behaviorist she takes the other dog to (since the fire) said it would be best if the dog wasn't as smart as the dog she has now and suggested a lab. :?

I almost snarfed my apple sauce with that one.

Sorry I'm no help.

I know. I was like the dogs, head tilted "HUH?" when she said that. I mean, really how are you gonna know how smart a dog really is until after you get them. Oh - and they suggested a puppy to her. Heck, a dumb puppy could grow into a smart dog. You never know.

This is the lab rescue that I've dealt with in the past...

I haven't heard anything but good stuff...:)

I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Joyce and her Labs are ignoring this thread.

You don't find a dog smarter than this....

Joyce, that is simply hilarious!

Lynn, I'm a volunteer for lab rescue...and they're great! However, they usually don't get any "poos"
