And the hits just keep on coming--D*amn Deer

Anything that doesn't fit into the other three catagories

I get a call from Joshua this morning that starts out "Don't worry Mom, I am fine" My heart sunk. The last time I got a call like that it was one of my friends saying "Don't worry Missy, Josh is fine" as he was being taken to the hospital after being cut out of his truck.
The deer around here are endless. One runs out in front of him and he couldn't swerve to the left because of on coming car so he went off the shoulder and slammed into a sign which proceeded to come thru his windshield.
He called to say he was coming home and not to freak when I see it. Well I freaked. He thinks he swallowed some glass but my stubborned a$$ son borrows his friends van who was off work today to go finish his route. :crazy2:
Here are a couple of pictures to give you the full affect. :(

This is from the drivers seat. He said the sign was right next to his head.

His angel (Katie) was with my son once again today. :angel2:

Glad he's okay, but get him to get checked out, just in case...otherwise, we'll ALL be worried!

My son is a very stubborned soul. I keep texting him and asking him if he is feeling ok. He says yes. So I can not force him to do anything. He has no insurance right now and I don't think workman's comp would cover it even though he was going to a job.
If anybody's life ever gets boring, just come to my house for a week. Things are always exciting around here. :D

Thanks everyone, I think it really hit Josh when he got home and looked at it again. He will be partnering up for the rest of the week. Until he can get it fixed or get something else to drive.

I hate deer! glad your son is okay.
I hid 2 deer at once one time and then hit another about a year later in my last vehicle but with my new truck I'm scared of hitting a deer because I dont want to hurt the truck lol.
I swear by deer wistlers though, ever since I have put them on my truck if I see a deer on the side of the road it always stays frozen in spot or runs off away from the road
