New Mexico

Anything that doesn't fit into the other three catagories

Postby pitbullmamaliz » November 19th, 2008, 9:29 pm

I recently went to New Mexico to surprise my step-mom for her 60th birthday. All the hugging pics were when she first saw us. :) It was a lot of fun! Here are all the pics I took - click on them and you can see the full-size pics. It was beautiful!

Thanks everybody! Deb, they live in Alamogordo, about 15 minutes from White Sands. That was probably my favorite part of the trip - such an amazingly gorgeous place!

ACK! They were kinda sorta my neighbors! I lived in Ruidoso. Right on the 'river' ( it is more like a creek) and for a time at the race track

We went to Ruidoso for dinner! We stopped at the Inn of the Mountain Gods for cocktails and then went to this awesome steak joint in Ruidoso...can't remember the name of it but it was the most amazing filet mignon I'd ever had.

She had no idea that we were flying in - we were afraid she'd have heart failure! :giggle:

I spent a lot of time ( and money ) at the Inn. NM is such an incredible state.
