Hey Jason, welcome. This is a nosy bunch so you're going to have to give them what they want...sometimes they even want shoe size and favorite pizza.

Nothing wrong with a proper chain set up. I tie out my dogs when I do yardwork, otherwise they'll be chasing deer all the way into NY. Semper Fi Mac has broken every cable I've used for him, so now he gets tied out on a chain.

Exactly! As long as the dogs are properly contained, excersied & cared for that is ALL that really matters. This breed is strong & a strong chain is needed to contain them. I'd MUCH rather see a pit bull on a large chain than on a too small wimpy one that can be easily broken by a strong dog.

And welcome!

I dont mind you (or anyone) containing your dog(s) safely while out in the yard/garden at all...but I see an igloohouse also in the pics and this made me think that these are mostly outside dogs?...maybe ...dunno...just that heavy chains constantly on dogs isnt good for their necks and personally I dont like it

K, you know Intro threads are for just that only -- Introductions. If you have a question or problem with a subject brought up in an Intro thread, make a new thread about the subject. Or, you can look up the multiple threads that we already have on containment methods and make your comments there. :)
