Circus Hannah videos

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

I took these the other day. They are not good, but Hannah did have fun making them. The first one was just shaping her to stand on two stools, one 18" high, the other 24". She'd played around on the lower one before, but it was her first time seeing the higher one.

The second is getting her to turn around on the stool. We haven't worked on this one much yet.

Wow, that is awesome!! And how much trust must she have in you to continue getting up on the stool even when she gets a little freaked from being off balance. That is amazing to see.

Holy moly you need sturdier stools for her to stand on! :o

Very impressive though!

Awww. Thanks guys! Hannah is my clicker queen. She absolutely loves it, and is willing to do many, many things that are scary or weird to get a click. I love finding new things for her to interact with. It's hard to remember what she was like two years ago, afraid of everything and everyone. She still gets spooked, but I can usually get her over it with a few clicks and treats.

And I do need sturdier stools. She does much better when I stand on one of the rungs on the stool to hold it steadier, but with two stools, I didn't want to worry about balancing on both of them myself. I also wanted to give her a chance to learn to balance on her own.

Now I've just got to think up some more things for her to do.

We've tried this with the puppies in class...standing on overturned pots. It's pretty cute.

I feel like such a slacker now... :nono: You're not allowed to post any more cool videos until I get off my ass and do some training. ;)

Ooh, sounds like a challenge to me! Hannah, get your butt in here so I can make more videos. Oh, wait, mom has the camera. Rats, foiled again.

And actually, I am quite lazy. I work with Hannah because she's so easy, when really it's Renee I need to work more with.
