She seems to be having a blast. And beautiful as always.
I like the video of Blue too.
He's one determined boy.
I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions.
Is a drive when the decoy moves toward the dog?
And why did you have to lift Blue's head at the end? Was it just so the decoy had some traction to get his arm out of the sleeve?
Re: Blue
We are working on a full, solid, calm bite. By me lifting his head from underneath with one hand and calmly petting the top of his head and calming talking to him I am reassuring him that this is the way he's supposed to be doing it.
And yes, a drive is when the decoy puts a lot of pressure on a dog by walking into it and/or using a stick or whip. It is essentially the basis of a courage test because the decoy is coming AT the dog instead of moving away and acting as though the dog is hurting them. This is the first time Teeny had ever seen anything like that. Last week she took a few sleeve bites and I was psyched. Right before the video we tried a send and we rocked it, and turned on the cam for the second one. I'm just SO proud of her right now.
