New Foster arrived last night.

Postby DempseysPaw » October 27th, 2008, 9:54 pm

We picked up our newest foster last night and would like to invite everyone to play the guess the breed game. His name is Juno and he's about 2 years old and has spent most of his life in foster care. He's ver tall and leggy and just a very sweeet mellow boy who gets along great with other dogs and even cats. He is of course neutered, fully vetted, micro chipped, house broken and crate trained. He walks great on a leash and always comes when I whistle for him. And best of all he's so even tempered and stable that he even gets along with psycho Phoebe and fearful Otis. He's been surrounded by Pitties his whole life and may even think he is one.

He measures 18" from the floor to chest between the front arms and a little taller in the rear. He's about 24" from between the shoulders to the base of the tail and if he didn't carry or curl his tail it would just about drag the tip along the floor. From the tip of his nose to between the eyes must be
4"-5" inches. But he can't weight more than 75-80 lbs.

The odd thing is I once knew a female that could pass for his identical twin sister. She was smaller but only just enough to be the typical female smaller size that would apply to any typical pure bred.

He sure did make himself right at home. I'll take some pictures of my own the next few days.
In the mean time, anyone have room for one with an identity crisis?

Gazelle/shepherd mix.

I see more shepherd in him than anything else.
