Hi everyone,

I’ve just signed up to the site, although I’ve been visiting for a while now, just never registered before.

Just thought I’d pop in and say hi to everyone and to introduce myself.

My names Ryan, I’m 24 and live in London, UK. I currently don’t have a Pitbull but am looking at getting a dog in the near future, I guess I’m currently in research mode. What better way to learn about life with a Pitbull then to be on a forum dedicated to them and their owners!

Anyway that’s all I’ve got to say for now, but I look forward to getting to know you all in the future.

Welcome! What got you interested in pit bulls? Is there breed specific legislation in London?

Pitbillmamaliz,

My understanding is that they're "heavily restricted"

Restrictions being,

They must be neutered.
They must be insured.
They must be muzzled and kept on a lead in public.
They must be microchipped.
They must be registered.

But that's something I play to research in a lot more detail tonight when I have more time

Hello there and welcome in

I have to ask what you do for a living to be able to afford to live in london  ..Add turns down jobs from agencys and recruiters all the time because they are London based and we simply couldnt do it :|

and since the restrictions have been in place for quite a while in England it beggars the question of where you would find a Pit? ..and who is still breeding them?...and how well?

and since what we know of London leaads us to see a big city...how will you excercise your dog?

and no Im not the renewed Spanish inquisition...Im just K

Happy to answer,

I still live at home with old ma and pa so that’s how I can still afford to live in London, size 10 shoe and love pepperoni on my pizza’s. :D
