It wasn't my marriage anniversary though, it was 10 years since our first date. I've only been married for 3. We don't normally celebrate the "first date" anniversary, but neither of us could pass up the 10 year mark.

And congrats Diana!

CONGRATS to all of you!!!

Unfortunately no

The lighting in that building is so poor it is really difficult to get a decent action shot without the use of a flash (which are prohibited) unless you have a really fast camera and lens

I've decided I want a border/staffie. Some of the coolest dogs I have ever seen

Congrats! What's he up to now (in terms of titles)? :confetti:

and sheesh...those Border-staffies are crazy... :crazy2: Such opposite breeds...and put them together? Great for flyball...but I couldn't live with one. There are two young ones in our area, just coming out...and booooy, are they nasty to everyone. But fast...so that's what's important. :nono:

Just his FDCh but he racked up a bunch of points so he is pretty close to his FDCh Silver

There were two on one team that were really amazing. White with black but their heads were much bigger than most of the ones I have seen so they looked very staffy but boy could those things fly. Both were consistently putting up 3.9s.

Why in the world do some teams run their dogs without collars?

People breed them for flyball mainly...they're designer flyball breeds...short (to bring the jump height down), but fast and powerful and flexible. It's been going on for as long as I've been in flyball...(over 10 years now). The first mixes I remember were Border-borders (BC and Border terrier)...but they weren't as fast. Now I'm seeing Border-whippets and such too. But they're taking such completely different dogs...to breed, it's just odd. But the fastest teams have them...so everyone needs one now!

I just don't get it :| ...they all claim that they find only good homes for them, but I'm still a rescue person at heart...and I've found great flyball dogs that way.

BTW, Matt...they're usually referred to as "Staffy-jacks" when it's a JRT/SBT mix.

I got hired today.

It's not as much money as I wanted to start out with, but they have a good bonus system, and the benefits are awesome, and there's a lot of room for advancement. So, let's hope that works out.
