Tess' first trip (plus lots of Elmo & Tully)

Post your pics and vids here.

I spent the weekend at an agility trial in Sequim, which is about 4 hours from here. This was the first away event for Tess, she'd never been on such a long drive, or stayed in a motel. She did very well! I didn't get any pictures of the cutest moments of her meeting people and playing with dogs at the agility trial, but here are some pix I did get.

2 dogs, ready for the fun to start:

I amuse myself by tossing the obnoxious puppy in there for awhile. Bwahaha!

At the overpriced Econolodge, Elmo curls up with me on the couch to watch TV

Image

Tully, for some reason, would rather pout by herself

Image

And Tess would rather stand on the coffee table. Considering they charged me $10 per dog, per night, as a pet fee; I think my puppy can stand wherever she wants.

Image

I do stifle the wrestling match when it gets loud, though

I'm back to amusing myself at the trial the next morning

Until that afternoon, when it starts to rain. Brrr. Back to the Econolodge!

Tess and Tully play

and practice their acrobatic routine

Unfortunately, it rains all day Sunday, too. Somehow, I contrive to deal with the suffering, though.

i dont remember if they take dogs but the super 8 on the outskirts of port angeles (only about a 10-15 ride from sequim) is much much much more reasonable than the econolodge!!!

great pictures!!!!

The green ones are for qualifying in the various runs. Each dog ran 6 times over the weekend, Tully qualified 5 times and Elmo qualified 4 times. The yellow one is a 3rd place, which Tully got. The 16" class was really big, with some great dogs, so we only placed that once. The rainbow ribbons are for "double qualifying" scores, meaning we qualified in both runs that day. (part of the requirement for the agility championship is double qualifying 20 times at this, the highest level of competition) Both dogs double qualified on Saturday and Sunday.

Actually, he still doesn't look his age! He'll be 10 in July, but now people are guessing around 7. He's doing great!
