Adopt Calvin!

Postby Judy » October 11th, 2008, 12:31 pm

Calvin is a 2 yr old male APBT mix. Here is a pic from Cindi (doglvrx3) who took him to the park today. (Cindi developed a great program at the adoption center called PAWS in the Park where we take the dogs to a local park for fresh air and exercise as well as to get them exposure to the public.)

Here's Calvin at the park, sporting his "Adopt Me" vest:

and here is Calvin's Halloween photo, isn't he handsome:

Awww he's cute, and that's a great idea to get out on the adoption scene. :)

He is so sweet looking! Our private shelter always had the dog walkers wear shirts that said THEY were with an adoptable dog, and the dogs all wore an "adopt me" shirt.

Good luck, Calvin!

There is a vest at the other shelter for people to wear, but it's all orange and bright and I told the woman who wore it that she looked like a dork. She threatened to make me wear it next week.

He wasn't listed from what I can tell, but there is another cutie on there that looks very similar.

Sorry my link didn't work, but Judy will probably know. :)

Yes, I was....maybe I am just silly for liking working with shy dogs or its the eerie look he gives you that reminds me of my girl at home. I'm devastated for not asking sooner! I feel sooo horrible
