Have a Bully related CafePress store? Do you make or sell dog products? Let us know so we can shop there! Posting animals for sale is against board policy

Can anyone recommend a site to go to for a weight pull harness for a 16lb sheltie?

Thanks in advance, know it's not the board's breed, but figured there are enough weight pull experts to know where I should go!

Hi Jill,

Most of the people I know have ordered their harnesses through Alaskan Dream http://www.alaskandream.org/index.html

If you want to get Dawn into competition weight pull I highly suggest getting a custom fit harness. They are very reasonable and will last you a lifetime. The woman who makes them is actually judging the weight pull competition this weekend in Syracuse so if you order now I could always pick it up for you. If not, I don't believe shipping is that much.

You can buy your own fabric and send it to Melissa and she'll use that for the accent stripping, but I dont know any psychos that would do that.

I have an acquaintance that does weight pull with her little sable sheltie...very cool little dog! :D

I also recommend Alaskan Dreams. She is very helpful and makes high-quality harnesses. And like Matt said, the custom-made are the way to go. With S&H, Inara's custom harness was $60, I think.

There are a number of people who make weight pull harnesses, Leslie H has one that she is very happy with. Ask her about it.
