I found beef shank on sale for $1.50/pound! They were all packaged individually, about 1/2 pound in each package. They make for an awesome, hassle-free dog dinner... I bought all of them, about 20 packages.

My cab came literally 5 minutes after I called, so none of Beasts ice cream melted. :D

And the dog absolutely ADORES me now - he "showed" me the precious beef shank bone about a hundred times already. lol

Ah, it's definitely the little things that thrill me these days. :)

My sister actually cracked a joke today! AND it was funny!!!!!

Trust me, she's all business all the time, quiet, and rarely funny. It was nice to see a little bit of my humor hiding in her ;)

It makes me happy to know other folks have sisters that are as much opposites as my sister and I :|

I thought all these years I was the only one. My sister and I are as different as daylight and dark.

I walked to the coffee shop for breakfast this morning and took Renee along. I managed not to lose my temper completely during the whole outing, and Renee behaved herself for the most part. I did have to walk backwards part of the way to keep her from dragging me across the street to chase a squirrel, but I got her to leave the dead bird on the sidewalk alone.

I have one brother I love ( most of the time) one brother I have despised since birth.

But my niece & nephew are here today & that makes me happy. :)

I'm going to get an extra $25 in my paycheck for doing a health screening at work today. Also, even though I'm fat my cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose are all phenomenal, so that's awesome. :)
