Hey, I'm new to your message board. My name is Danielle and live in Northern New England. I have three APBTs whom i love to death and foster a few here and there for behavior evaluation and modification for local shelters. I'm always looking for new advice and willing to exchange any I've come across. I love to see pitties out there doing good things! I love to compete with my dogs although right now only working with a new puppy for a while before any others. I have an older rescue that is a work in progress but happy she did well in her first competition ever.
Not sure how to do pics yet so they will be coming soon!

I've competed in Personal Protection with my old dog Better than Lojac (RIP) and it he was a rescue so it was new to him at an old age. I do weight pull with all my dogs and have just started getting interested in UKC Family dog, PD1s and hopefully a UCD with my latest puppy. I work at local shelters around here for just plain jane pet obedience but also train with fellows in police work, tracking, and am personally interested in bird dog competitions. I also foster dogs here and there for behavioral modification (which is more like basic manners for most people) and puppy lessons. I enjoy seeing clients see progress and get addicted to making new challenges for them and their dogs. Its great to see the bonds grow!

Hey alyssa! Poor old man must have had too much work in his life. He started getting paralyzed in the back end and when I finally realized he couldn't do bite work anymore I tried making him a house dog.....his back and neck were fused and I guess that pinches important nerves....so when it got harder for him to move around it made him less tolerant of the other dogs...I'm sure it was painful so I finally decided to humanely put him down. I miss him so much....boy do I hate puppies!!!!
