Emery at Animal Welfare Society of New Milford

Postby Marinepits » August 13th, 2008, 8:35 am

Emery is a gorgeous pure bred GSD. He's about 8 years old and is an "instant dog". He likes everything, including other animals, and LOVES to run. He was given up by his owners due to his age.

How do you dump a dog because it's old? I just don't get it . . .

I LOVE this dog -- he SO sweet and just wants to be with humans. He's very stressed in the shelter and the folks are doing everything they can for him, but he REALLY needs to be back in a home. :(

Will this shelter adopt to people out of area?

That is bile making...turned over because of his age?...thats so the wrong way around...the older they are the more you should cherish them...my 3 oldies are the best dogs ever...despite all thier faults...I hope to DOG that Emery finds someone deserving of him real soon
Dont breed or buy while shelter animals die!

he looks well aged and like he has lots of life left in him :| I bet he'd maybe even enjoy some tracking or OB...
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.
