Maryellen, did you get prices on that stuff? And do they deliver?

I was once interested in them, but they don't have any MD distributors.

I looked at it once & the store near me that sells it has it for around $5 per pound. WAAAAAAAAY too much IMO. I might think of paying that for the exotic meats but even that would be stretching it. I'll stick to my .69 per pound turkey legs & pork neck.

weird, i didn't seen any MD distributors on the list when i looked last.

the only one near me is the 410 area code one. the others are near DC.

but $3/pound is way too much money to spend on dog food anyway--even when i buy chicken and such for myself i try to get it on sale for cheaper than that, LOL!

all the frozen, pre-prepared stuff is ridiculously insane it seems.

i definitely am saving my pennies till i can afford a real bone/meat grinder/mill thing . . . then i can make my own mixes and not have to worry.

i priced some out on ebay ... and i think i'm gonna head to the retaurant supply warehouse this weekend to see what they've got.

hope i find something good.

You should watch the want-ads for people selling off their restaurant equipment. There is a section in the Dallas Morning News dedicated to restaurant equipment resale & you can find some great deals. Check out your newspaper!!

i'm gonna start looking today, i picked up a paper this afternoon.

haha, i can pre-make my own raw, package it, and sell it at reasonable prices to my raw-feeding friends, LOL!

you can start your own business!!! seriously, look in the papers under restaurant items, free items, items under $$ look even at businesses for sale.. i would also join a raw feeding group if you havent already, and see if anyone is getting rid of one, and i would try freecycle too..
