Abused/neglected girl in GA. (Foster available)

Postby rescuedogmama » June 30th, 2008, 9:09 pm

I know of a foster who is willing to take her in, but needs the rescue's backing. She can't financially support her vetting, but is willing to foster. She has experience with special needs, too. I'm sure that there will be donations available from other girls we know, so the rescue will get a boost.

Here is her petfinder page. WARNING: Graphic pictures.

She is about 1 1/2 hours away from the shelter. We may have a rescue lined up, but you know how that goes. Always check and double check.

ahh ok, cuz i'd have a rescue that might be able to help but in the albany ny area

and they'd not be inclined to help a foster that's that far away...

Great news! She'll be pulled this afternoon! She was scheduled to be PTS tomorrow morning. :(

She will be fostered until she can hitch a ride to Chicago to go to the sponsoring rescue. She may have extensive medical bills, obviously, so I will have info on where to donate, if anyone is interested.

I can't wait to see her progress!

She is in rescue now, and is getting veterinary care.

If you know anyone with extra money to spare (teehee), there is a page set up to make donations.

I won't post it, but you can PM me and I'll give it to you.

Thanks for all the good thoughts!
