Anyone near Nashville, TN?

A girl from a forum that I'm on is trying to catch a female pit or mix. She's not sure exactly what she is, but initially thinks pit, but maybe part Am.Bulldog?

This dog hangs around a gas station, and the girl has been going on the weekend to try and catch her by feeding her. She was starting to trust her, and even licked her hand. She went by the other day, and the attendant said that the last time he saw her, "her insides were hanging out". Someone mentioned vaginal prolapse, and she does have some swelling around her eyes. It just doesn't sound like a good situation.

AC said they will euth her if they catch her, due to her being a pit. The shelters and rescues she's contacted won't help, won't offer a catch pole or trap, even after being told she needs medical attention.

Do you have any other ideas, or people who might be able to help?

She has plans in place to get her vetted immediately after catching her. Just wanted to make sure I stressed that.

If you know someone that can help or offer suggestions, her email is Ryann1201@yahoo.com

She spotted the dog this morning. It looks like she definitely has vaginal prolapse. The poor pup was so scared, and there was a large dog that kept charging her. The plan is to try and catch her tomorrow, by whatever means necessary.

If you know anyone in the area, please have them contact her at the email address above. She needs help!

Best of luck to her. Wish I were closer or knew someone in that area. :(

What about calling the local radio and asking for some dog loving "Round Up" volunteers to meet her there?...many hands make light work and this poor pupper sounds like although she is scared stiff she realy ,really needs a vet right now...whatever it takes

Add just suggested that she also try the local truckers cafe or bikers bar...they may indeed be big ,hairy blokes but you would be suprised to find they are mostly all dog and cat lovers and they are always willing to help a 'damsel in distress'...and dogs tend to like the deep voices that they have :|
