It arrived!!! I'm so excited! I ordered it from Alaskan Dream Dog Equipment (http://www.alaskandream.org/weightpullingharnesses.html).

I ordered extra padding under the 2nd criss-cross...

And neoprene padding instead of taped foam around the neck...

She really didn't seem phased by it. Just kind of rolled her eyes at me like she usually does. I don't think she realizes that I mean for her to actually PULL things with it. lol

:giggle: I attached her to the porch swing so I could get some pics from different angles. She immediately started eating grass and then laid down to facilitate that effort. She's so lazy when she's home!

Thank you for posting the link for that. I've been looking at getting a harness for Mindy, and these guys seem a lot better-priced than some others I've looked at. And these are the only ones I've seen who offer the neoprene padding. I'll be checking in to them soon.

I absolutely would - a custom-made harness from her is the same price as generic-sized harnesses from other people. And once I ordered it, it got here within a week and a half.

I took a walk with it on Inara last night, and we got some strange looks - GORGEOUS pit bull trotting along wearing a gigantic harness, while I held a leash in my right hand attached to her collar, and the spreader bar in my left hand so it didn't hit her hocks! What a sight we must've been. *giggle*

Liz, in a little while you can get a little red wagon and have her pull you in that around the neighborhood. Wonder what the neighbors would think then. 8)

That is a very nice harness...and it looks gorgeous against her white fur. Don't forget to take pictures when she's pulling you in a little red wagon ;)

I also love how you paid attention to the detail to make sure Inara is even more comfortable in the harness. What a good mama you are! :)

More like what a sucker I am! LOL Nah, I'm kidding - the extra padding was only $5, so I just did it for peace of mind.

I probably will get a wagon for her eventually, though not necessarily for me! More just to put things in for her to pull - maybe I should get a bridle with side reins so I can steer more easily...She is learning "left" and "right" though.
